CANDLE - Uplifting Aromas from Cowshed

I love scented candles, in fact it is somewhat of an obsession. I also appreciate the importance of natural, therapeutic products and that is one of the reasons I love Cowshed.

Cowshed was one of the first brands to specialise in the use of plants and their oils, proteins and vitamins. It was first developed for use in the original Cowshed spa in Somerset and the whole range contains naturally-derived ingredients, free from: Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates and Artificial fragrance and colours.


I have been trying out the Grumpy Cow, Uplifting Room Candle (RRP: £28) It is almost unbelievable that the scent of the candle is all natural. Once lit the candle fills the room and senses with a zingy grapefruit aroma, fresh and invigorating. And don't think this is just for the girls, my boyfriend seems to have stolen this candle for himself as it smells so yummy.

The candles are boxed beautifully which makes them ideal gifts. In gorgeous white patterned glass, these are not only uplifting from the scent but also a beautiful addition to any room, whether minimalist and modern or cosy country chic .With zesty mandarin the aroma helps relieve stress, something we can all appreciate in our hectic lives.

I can also recommend the Knackered Cow, Relaxing Travel Candles (RRP: £20). In handy votive size, these are perfect as a present to a mum or sister who could do with some pampering. I suggest surrounding yourself with them in the bath and letting the lavender and eucalyptus work their magic.
